Contact Preferences

The Contact Preferences page allows you to manage how each client wishes to receive communications from your business.

Respecting a client's communication preferences is an important part of providing excellent customer service and complying with messaging regulations.

Peach Suite Pro automatically uses these preferences whenever SMS or email messages are sent.

Contact Preferences

Each client has individual communication settings that determine how they may be contacted.

These preferences include:

* SMS Opt-In

* SMS Opt-Out

* Email Opt-In

* Email Opt-Out

* OK to Call

These settings are the authoritative source for all communications within Peach Suite Pro.

SMS Preferences

Clients who have agreed to receive text messages should be marked as **SMS Opt-In**.

Clients who no longer wish to receive text messages should be marked as **SMS Opt-Out**.

When a client is opted out, Peach Suite Pro automatically excludes them from SMS campaigns.

Email Preferences

Clients who wish to receive email communications should be marked as **Email Opt-In**.

Clients who unsubscribe or request not to receive email should be marked as **Email Opt-Out**.

Opted-out clients are automatically excluded from email campaigns.

OK to Call

The **OK to Call** setting indicates whether the client has given permission to receive telephone calls from your business.

This preference is independent of SMS and email preferences.

A client may choose any combination of communication methods.

For example:

* Receive email only

* Receive SMS only

* Receive phone calls only

* Receive all communications

* Receive no marketing communications

How Peach Suite Pro Uses Contact Preferences

Every time an SMS or email campaign is prepared, Peach Suite Pro automatically checks each client's Contact Preferences before sending messages.

Clients who are not eligible are automatically excluded from the recipient list.

This helps reduce accidental messaging and improves compliance with communication regulations.

Messaging Compliance

The system helps businesses:

* Respect client communication preferences

* Honor opt-out requests

* Prevent messages from being sent to ineligible recipients

* Maintain accurate communication records

* Promote consistent messaging practices

While Peach Suite Pro provides tools to assist with compliance, your business remains responsible for obtaining and documenting any required consent before sending marketing communications.

Changing Preferences

Client communication preferences may change over time.

Examples include:

* A client requests to stop receiving promotional texts.

* A client subscribes to your email newsletter.

* A client changes their preferred method of communication.

* A client requests to receive appointment reminders only.

Update Contact Preferences promptly whenever a client makes a request.

Best Practices

* Obtain permission before sending marketing communications.

* Honor opt-out requests promptly.

* Keep client contact information up to date.

* Review Contact Preferences regularly.

* Send communications only to clients who have expressed interest in receiving them.

* Respect your clients' preferred communication methods.

Coach Peach Integration

Coach Peach may identify communication opportunities while respecting each client's Contact Preferences.

Examples include:

* Birthday greetings

* Client reactivation campaigns

* Event follow-ups

* Seasonal promotions

* Appointment reminders

Coach Peach will recommend communication opportunities, but Peach Suite Pro continues to use each client's Contact Preferences when determining who is eligible to receive messages.

Why Contact Preferences Matter

Every client communicates differently.

Some prefer text messages.

Others prefer email.

Some may wish to receive appointment reminders but not promotional messages.

Keeping Contact Preferences accurate helps your business communicate professionally, strengthens client trust, and supports responsible messaging practices.
