Setting Up Provider Hours

Provider Hours defines the normal schedule during which an individual provider is available to perform services.

Provider Hours is an important part of PeachBook availability and is required for providers who will receive appointment bookings.

Business Hours and Provider Hours Are Different

Business Hours defines when the business is generally open.

Provider Hours defines when a specific provider is scheduled to work.

A business may be open even when a particular provider is not available. Because of this, both settings are needed.

Set Each Provider's Normal Schedule

For each provider, enter the days and times they normally work.

Only include periods when the provider is expected to be available for appointments.

Why Accurate Provider Hours Matter

PeachBook uses Provider Hours when calculating appointment availability.

Incorrect hours may result in customers seeing times that should not be available or failing to see times that should be bookable.

Temporary Schedule Changes

Do not change a provider's normal weekly schedule simply because they will be unavailable for a temporary period.

Use Provider Time Off for vacations, appointments, training, and other temporary exceptions.

Before Completing This Step

Confirm that:

  • Every bookable provider has a schedule
  • The correct working days are selected
  • Start and end times are accurate
  • The provider's hours fit within the intended business schedule

Test the Booking Page

After saving Provider Hours, review PeachBook and confirm that appointment availability reflects the provider's actual schedule.
