Provider Hours
Provider Hours define the normal days and times each provider is available to perform appointments.
These hours work together with Business Hours to determine which appointment times may be offered through online booking.
What This Page Does
Use the Provider Hours page to create a regular weekly schedule for each provider.
A provider may work the same hours as the business or have a more limited schedule.
Before You Begin
Confirm that the provider has been added as an active employee or service provider in Peach Suite Pro.
Business Hours should also be configured before setting Provider Hours.
Provider Hours should normally fall within the business operating hours for the same day.
Setting Provider Hours
1. Open the Booking Control Center.
2. Select Provider Hours.
3. Choose the provider whose schedule you want to manage.
4. Review each day of the week.
5. Mark the days the provider normally works.
6. Enter the provider’s normal starting and ending time for each working day.
7. Mark days the provider does not normally work as unavailable or closed.
8. Save the schedule.
How Provider Hours Affect Online Booking
Peach Suite Pro will not offer appointment times for a provider outside that provider’s scheduled working hours.
The requested time must also fall within Business Hours and satisfy the selected service, existing appointments, provider time off, and other availability rules.
Provider Hours alone do not guarantee that a particular appointment time will be available.
Business Hours and Provider Hours
Business Hours define when the business is open.
Provider Hours define when an individual provider is working.
For example, the business may be open from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM, while one provider works from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM and another provider works from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
Each provider will only receive appointment availability during their own working schedule.
Providers With Different Schedules
Each provider may have a separate weekly schedule.
This allows Peach Suite Pro to calculate availability independently for each provider while still respecting the overall Business Hours.
Review each provider individually whenever staffing schedules change.
Temporary Schedule Changes
Provider Hours should represent the provider’s normal recurring weekly schedule.
Do not permanently change Provider Hours for a vacation, personal appointment, temporary absence, or one-time schedule adjustment.
Use Provider Time Off to block temporary unavailable periods.
Common Problems
A provider has no available appointment times
Confirm that the provider is active and has working hours configured for the selected day.
Also review Business Hours, Provider Services, Provider Time Off, existing appointments, and the requested service duration.
A provider appears on the wrong day
Review the provider’s weekly schedule and confirm that the correct days are marked as working days.
A provider is available outside business hours
Compare the provider’s schedule with Business Hours and correct any hours that fall outside the normal business operating schedule.
A temporary absence is still showing as available
Add the unavailable period on the Provider Time Off page, then run the Availability Test again.
