Availability Test

The Availability Test allows you to check which appointment times Peach Suite Pro would offer based on your current online booking settings.

Use this page to verify availability before sharing the public booking page with clients.

What This Page Does

The Availability Test runs the same scheduling rules used by the online booking system.

It helps confirm that Business Hours, Provider Hours, Provider Services, Provider Time Off, existing appointments, and service duration are working together correctly.

Before You Begin

Complete the following booking setup before running a test:

* Configure Business Hours.

* Configure Provider Hours.

* Assign services on Provider Services.

* Confirm the service is active and publicly bookable.

* Enter any applicable Provider Time Off.

At least one active provider must be eligible to perform the selected service.

Running an Availability Test

1. Open the Booking Control Center.

2. Select Availability Test.

3. Choose the service you want to test.

4. Select a provider when a provider option is available.

5. Select the date you want to review.

6. Run the availability test.

7. Review the appointment times returned by Peach Suite Pro.

Understanding the Results

Available times are appointment start times that satisfy all current booking rules.

A time may be offered only when:

* The business is open.

* An eligible provider is working.

* The provider performs the selected service.

* The service fits completely within the available schedule.

* The provider has no conflicting appointment.

* The provider has no overlapping time-off record.

A returned start time must allow the entire service duration to be completed before the provider or business closes.

Testing a Specific Provider

Selecting a specific provider limits the test to that provider’s schedule and service assignments.

This is useful when confirming that an individual provider’s hours, services, appointments, and time off are configured correctly.

Testing Any Available Provider

When the test allows any available provider, Peach Suite Pro checks all active providers who are eligible to perform the selected service.

A time may appear when at least one eligible provider is available.

Why No Times May Be Available

No available times does not necessarily indicate a system error.

Common causes include:

* The business is closed on the selected date.

* No provider has working hours on the selected date.

* The selected service is not assigned to an active provider.

* The provider is already booked.

* Provider Time Off blocks the available period.

* The service duration does not fit before closing time.

* The service or provider is not publicly bookable.

Testing After Schedule Changes

Run the Availability Test after changing Business Hours, Provider Hours, Provider Services, or Provider Time Off.

Testing immediately after a change helps confirm that the public booking page will display the expected appointment times.

Availability Test and Existing Appointments

Existing appointments are considered when calculating availability.

A provider should not be offered for a new appointment when the requested service would overlap an existing appointment.

The Availability Test does not create, change, or cancel an appointment.

Common Problems

No services are available for testing

Confirm that at least one Service Type is active and publicly bookable.

A provider does not appear

Confirm that the provider is active, publicly bookable, and assigned to the selected service.

An expected appointment time is missing

Review Business Hours, Provider Hours, Provider Time Off, existing appointments, and the selected service duration.

A time appears that should be unavailable

Confirm that the correct provider, date, and service were selected. Review the provider’s schedule and any applicable time-off records.

The test results differ from the public booking page

Confirm that both pages are using the same service, provider selection, and date.

Save all booking-setting changes before testing again.
