Setting Up the Booking Control Center
The Booking Control Center is the main setup area for PeachBook online booking.
It controls the scheduling information Peach Suite Pro uses to determine when a customer may book an appointment and which providers are available.
Authoritative Booking Settings
The Booking Control Center is the authoritative location for:
- Business Hours
- Provider Hours
- Provider Services
- Provider Time Off
Business Hours
Business Hours define the normal times your business is open.
These hours establish the overall scheduling framework but do not replace individual Provider Hours.
Provider Hours
Provider Hours define when each provider is normally available to perform services.
Provider Hours are required for providers who will receive appointment bookings.
Provider Services
Provider Services determines which services each provider is qualified or authorized to perform.
PeachBook uses this information to avoid offering invalid provider and service combinations.
Provider Time Off
Provider Time Off blocks periods when a provider is unavailable during their otherwise normal schedule.
Use this for vacations, personal appointments, training, or other unavailable periods.
How Availability Is Determined
A provider generally needs all relevant booking conditions to be satisfied before an appointment time can be offered.
For example, the business must be open, the provider must be scheduled to work, the provider must offer the requested service, and the provider must not be blocked by Time Off.
Before Completing Setup
Review the following:
- Business Hours are correct
- Every bookable provider has Provider Hours
- Providers are assigned to the correct services
- Known Time Off has been entered
Test PeachBook
After completing the Booking Control Center, open your public PeachBook page and test the booking experience as a customer.
Confirm that the expected services, providers, dates, and appointment times are available.
Keep Booking Settings Current
Whenever business hours, provider schedules, service assignments, or time off change, update the Booking Control Center promptly.
