Square — Connecting Your Square Account
Before Peach Suite Pro can use Square payment and synchronization features, you must connect the Square account for your business.
This is a one-time setup for the business unless the connection later needs to be repaired, reauthorized, or replaced.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have access to the Square account that belongs to the business you are currently managing.
Important: Do not connect a different business's Square account. Always confirm that you are authorizing the correct Square business before completing the connection. How to Connect Square
Step 1 — Open the Square Control Center
From the Peach Suite Pro main menu, select Square and open the Square Control Center.
Step 2 — Start the Square Connection
Select the option to connect your Square account.
Peach Suite Pro will begin the Square authorization process.
Step 3 — Sign In to Square
Follow the Square sign-in and authorization instructions shown by Square.
Use the Square credentials for the business you are connecting.
Tip: If your browser is already signed in to Square, take a moment to confirm that the account currently displayed by Square is the correct business before approving the connection.Step 4 — Authorize Peach Suite Pro
Review the information presented during the Square authorization process and approve the connection when you are certain you are authorizing the correct business account.
Step 5 — Return to Peach Suite Pro
After Square completes the authorization process, return to Peach Suite Pro.
The Square Control Center should now show the current connection status.
Confirm That Your Connection Is Working
After connecting Square, check the Square Control Center to confirm that the connection is active.
You can also review Sync Activity when you begin using Square synchronization features.
What Happens After Square Is Connected?
Once the connection is active, Peach Suite Pro can use the supported Square features available to your business.
Depending on your configuration, this can include supported synchronization of clients, services, products, inventory information, and Square payment information.
You do not need to reconnect Square every time you open Peach Suite Pro.
What If I Connected the Wrong Square Account?
Stop before performing synchronization or payment-related work through the incorrect connection.
- Review the current Square connection.
- Do not continue synchronization for the wrong business.
- Follow the Square reconnect or connection-repair process when available.
- Confirm the correct Square business account before reauthorizing.
What If the Connection Does Not Appear Active?
Start in the Square Control Center and review the current connection status.
If a reconnect or reauthorization option is available, follow that process.
If the connection appears active but a particular synchronization is failing, open Sync Activity before assuming that the entire Square connection is broken.
Connecting Square Does Not Automatically Mean Everything Is Synced
Connecting your Square account establishes the authorized connection. Synchronization is a separate action.
Depending on the feature, you may need to use Sync All to Square or another supported synchronization workflow.
Remember: Connect Square and Sync All to Square are two different steps.Security and Business Protection
Your Square connection is associated with the business and workspace context in Peach Suite Pro.
Always make sure you are working in the correct business before connecting Square or performing synchronization.
Do not share Square or Peach Suite Pro credentials with other users. Each authorized Peach Suite Pro user should use their own account and permissions.
