Setting Up Your Service Catalog
The Service Catalog is where you create and maintain the core services offered by your business.
Peach Suite Pro uses the Service Catalog as the authoritative source for important service information, including service type, duration, and price.
Why the Service Catalog Matters
Services created here may be used by other areas of Peach Suite Pro, including appointments, PeachBook, Website Services, provider assignments, and reporting.
For that reason, it is important to make sure your service information is accurate before continuing with the rest of onboarding.
Core Service Information
Review the following information for each service:
- Service name
- Service type
- Duration
- Price
- Active or inactive status, when available
Service Type
Service Type helps organize your services into meaningful categories.
Choose the type that best represents the service being offered.
Duration
Set the expected amount of time required to perform the service.
Accurate duration is especially important for appointment scheduling and PeachBook availability.
Price
Enter the standard price you want associated with the service.
The Service Catalog is the source of truth for the current standard service price. When an appointment is booked, Peach Suite Pro may preserve the price associated with that booking separately for historical accuracy.
Before Continuing
Before marking this onboarding step complete, review your Service Catalog and confirm that:
- All services you currently offer are present
- Service names are clear and recognizable
- Service types are correct
- Durations are accurate
- Prices are accurate
Website Presentation
The Service Catalog controls the core service information, but public website presentation is managed separately through Website Services.
Do not create duplicate services only to change how a service appears on your website. Use Website Services for public presentation settings.
Making Changes Later
You can return to the Service Catalog whenever your offerings, prices, or durations change.
Keep this information current so other areas of Peach Suite Pro continue to use the correct service details.
