Learn how Business Hours define the normal operating schedule used by PeachBook when determining when appointments may be offered.

Updated: October 05, 2026

Business Hours

Business Hours define the normal days and times your business is open for appointments.

These hours create the outer schedule used by Peach Suite Pro when calculating online booking availability.

What This Page Does

Use the Business Hours page to establish your normal operating schedule for each day of the week.

You can identify which days your business is open and set the normal opening and closing time for each open day.

Before You Begin

Decide which days your business normally accepts appointments and the earliest and latest times appointments may occur.

Business Hours represent the overall operating hours of the business. Individual providers may have more limited schedules on the Provider Hours page.

Setting Business Hours

1. Open the Booking Control Center.

2. Select Business Hours.

3. Review each day of the week.

4. Mark the days your business is open.

5. Enter the opening and closing time for each open day.

6. Mark days with no normal business activity as closed.

7. Save your changes.

How Business Hours Affect Online Booking

Peach Suite Pro will not offer public appointment times outside your established Business Hours.

A time must also satisfy the selected provider’s working hours, service eligibility, existing appointments, and provider time-off restrictions before it can be offered to a client.

Business Hours alone do not guarantee that an appointment time will be available.

Business Hours and Provider Hours

Business Hours define when the business may operate.

Provider Hours define when an individual provider is available to perform services.

For example, the business may be open from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM, while a provider may work only from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

In that example, appointments for that provider can only be offered during the provider’s working hours.

Temporary Schedule Changes

Do not change normal Business Hours for a provider’s vacation, appointment, or temporary absence.

Use Provider Time Off to block temporary unavailable periods while preserving the normal weekly schedule.

Common Problems

No appointment times are available

Confirm that the business is marked open for the selected day and that valid opening and closing times have been entered.

Also review Provider Hours, Provider Services, Provider Time Off, and existing appointments.

A provider appears available outside their schedule

Review both Business Hours and Provider Hours. Provider availability should remain within the business operating schedule.

A closed day still appears during testing

Confirm that the Business Hours changes were saved, then run the Availability Test again.
